List of upcoming cars in India this 2020

As we witnessed a slowdown in the auto sector during 2019, the year 2020 is set to change all of it right from the start. The government has given a nod to replacing the BS-IV vehicles with BS-VI effective from the 1st April 2020. This has created quite some noise within the manufacturers to meet the regulatory norms. Mahindra XUV Aero

After the success of XUV 500, Mahindra is set to step in the market with Mahindra XUV Aero. It has crossover design from its outgoing model XUV 500 and a coupe design. The two-door design comes equipped with projector headlamps along with DRLs (daylight running lamps). The sharp design and the front grille makes its presence felt on the road. It is expected to come with a 2.0 L mHawk diesel engine churning out power numbers of 140 PS with torque figures of 320 Nm. It will be available in 2.2L petrol engine variant too. Force Gurkha 2020

For all you adventure junkies and off-road enthusiasts, we have got some good news for you. Force is set to launch its facelift model of the Gurkha series. The facelifted model comes with new bumper grille, head and tail lamps. While the infotainment system and dual airbag are now standard. Equipped with a 2.6L BS-VI engine under the hood, the five-speed gearbox produces 90PS of power and 280Nm of torque. It is expected to start from ₹ 9.75 lakhs for the base variant. Skoda Karoq

Skoda Karoq is to be launched in the first half of 2020 by the Volkswagen group owned Skoda. It is going to be introduced as a completely built unit (CBU) with either a 1L or 1.5L TSI engine unit. It is soon to launch for a price of ₹ 20 lakhs and is set to compete against the likes of MG Hector, Hyundai Tucson and Jeep Compass.

Mahindra eKUV100

With the preference moving to cleaner and greener fuels, electric vehicles are a no brainer in this segment. Unlike other cars, the power numbers differ for this vehicle. It has a 15.9kWh battery pack with fast-charging support. e-KUV 100 has a range of 147 km on a single charge that can help you whizz past quietly.
